New Romance...or YA?

Hi friends!

What to do...finish the YA novel that I'm 3/4 finished with or start the next romance? The ideas for the romance are rapidly bubbling to the surface of my brain; ahh, but so close to the finish line with YA. I better sleep on it. Whichever I have a dream about first I shall work on. :)

I got another message saying that 'The Leading Man' is part of an inner office book club for people I've never met. Score! Thank you to everyone who has been telling friends, family, neighbors, strangers on the bus, whomever, about my book. I appreciate the word of mouth. Keep it up! Ha!

I hope this finds you all doing well, enjoying the lovely fall colors and looking forward to jeans and sweater weather!

THANK YOU!!!!

So Far, So Good!

Wow! What a month for The Leading Man. I need to say thank you to all my friends and family for your continued support. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of positive thoughts and comments as well as all the eBook downloads thus far - amazing! Thank you!

I have received many facebook and twitter messages from readers expressing how much they enjoyed the friendship evolution of Ben and Gabby; that they felt as though they were "in" the story with them. Those messages warm my heart beyond words. I think it's every author's goal and hope that the reader connects with their characters. So many people have asked me about a second book. Honestly, I hadn't really thought about it until recently. Getting The Leading Man out there was #1 on my bucket list and now I am seriously considering #2. You've all given me the confidence to try again and I am forever grateful to you for that.

I've gotten a lot of messages saying that the story has Hallmark/Lifetime Movie written all over it! I may have to work my magic with some of the producer names I have in my back pocket. Shhh. ;)

I'm enjoying this ride and taking it all in, truly appreciating every moment.

Have a great week, all!

Teri

The Leading Man on Sale This Week!

Hello friends! I'm very excited to share that my first novel, The Leading Man, will be on sale for most eBook devices this week!

You can also find information about me on twitter https://twitter.com/teriaoliver or facebook at http://goo.gl/QUSxw.

If you like what I've written, please share with your friends. We new authors rely on word-of-mouth exposure.

Thank you for all your support. I hope you enjoy the story!

Below is a small synopsis of The Leading Man:

After finally finding herself free from a painful marriage, Gabby Kappa is starting to get her life back in order. She has good job and a weekend catering gig. All of her free time is devoted to her daughter, Vivie.

When Gabby's sister invites her for a weekend getaway to New York, the last thing she expects to do is to meet her teen celebrity crush, Ben McNaughton. Surprisingly enough, Ben is very down to earth and even has some Minnesota roots near Gabby's home town. The friendship is instantaneous and comfortable which is exactly what both of them are needing. There is a spark of attraction between them but they both have their reasons not to pursue it.

Will Gabby's secret past get in the way of a possible romance? Will Ben's celebrity status prevent them from a happily ever after?
